BizarrApp: groundbreaking record and Web3 revolution

One of the first projects with which we launched Enigma was an NFT collection of Bizarrap on our Marketplace in late 2021. Bizarrap, Bizaphonix, and the Mystic Cap were the first three Genesis Cards of a project that, a few months later, began to take shape in our creative and innovation-driven minds. Thus, we decided to merge blockchain technology with Bizarrap's music to create a digital sticker album for all the Music Sessions.

An app with over 400 collectible cards, based on blockchain, featuring games, unique prizes, and the ability to gather a community of thousands of fans from around the world. The challenge didn't sound simple, but it did sound very interesting. We began developing the app in collaboration with Globant. We brought the first cards to life with unique, exclusive, and never-before-seen moments from each of the Sessions. During the process, we collaborated closely with Biza, organizing creative sessions to work on the card designs and review all the progress we were making. We implemented special features for some specific cards, such as the ability to unlock the Mixers of the Sessions by Frijo, Nicki Nicole, Louta, and Quevedo.

Thanks to our experience in the Web3 world, we decided to use blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity and unique ownership of each card. A smart contract system was implemented to manage transactions and ensure that each exchange was transparent and secure. The cards, in addition to living within the app, can also be traded and/or resold on a secondary market. As they are generated, they are sent to the user's Enigma account, where they will remain in Enigma's custody for as long as the app is active, with the aim of ensuring that exchanges can continue to happen within the app and also outside, in a direct on-chain purchase format.

Months passed, and we brought to life an application that blended elements from many different areas: music, collecting, Web3, fandom, new forms of interaction between fans and artists, and more. We officially launched BizarrApp in April 2023, a few days before the first of the three shows that Biza gave at the Hipódromo de Palermo, where we also set up a booth where thousands of show attendees came to discover the app, play for a while, and win packs of cards and merchandise.

Since the launch, the community has been growing equally in Argentina, Spain, and Mexico, becoming a space where thousands of Biza fans from around the world could share their passion for the Music Sessions, exchange cards to complete the album before anyone else, and participate in an all-inclusive trip to see a Biza show during 2024.

To date, we have delivered over 1,900,000 cards, in circulation and minted on the Polygon network. This number constitutes a record that seems to have no intention of stopping its growth: every passing day, this historical milestone continues to thrive on the blockchain. Today, the BizarrApp represents the largest collection of digital pieces by any Latin American artist, a worldwide achievement in the Web3 category, achieved through effort (and many sleepless nights) and thanks to the work of all the teams involved in this project.

BizarrApp marked a milestone in integrating blockchain technology with the world of art and music, becoming a cultural phenomenon in the Bizarrap universe and demonstrating that innovation, creativity, and art can come together to change the way we experience and share in the digital era.
